    I wanted to ask if it's possible to install Windows Server Essential 2022 ROK HPE on the VMware Hypervisor for vSphere,

    Isn't that a question for either Microsoft or HPE, since it might be against the terms of their licensing?

    Yes, that's right, I managed to contact the HPE team too and they confirmed me that it's possible

    Its possible when your ESXi Host is a HPE* Server.

    A ROK Install Media have a modified installer which check the BIOS string for that particular vendor. This means you need SMBIOS.reflectHost = “TRUE” as an adv. VM setting to get it working.

     

    If you buy a ROK from Dell its the same.
