Hi,
I am using Hyperic HQ 3.0. can it be configured to monitor the windows 2003 application event errors (event viewer) without additional plug-in?
I was trying to specify the event log (.evt file) location in the "indicator", but it doesn't seem to work as expected. I cannot find in the HQ 3.0 documentation as well
Please assist.
thx

Hi,
did you find the setup of event logging in the Configuration Properties of you Windows platform (Resources -> Browse -> Inventory -> Configuration Properties) ?
Could you attach a screenshot of the current settings ?

any idea?
