"Windowa 10 Not Found" Following Download of VMF 25H2 & VMF 13

I would appreciate any assistance with this issue. I had been using Fusion 13 with Windows 10 for years (bc my current laptop does not support Windows 11) without any issues until 2 days ago when I started receiving error messages essentially saying that the version I was using was no longer being recognized. I tried to download Fusion 13 again and was denied access bc my credentials were not being fully recognized. With the assistance of customer service I completed the verification process this morning.  I logged into the site and was able to complete the download process with no issues for VM Fusion 25H2 but the program wouldn't start up. I also attempted to download Fusion 13 that was also on my download page (bc they assured me that Fusion-13 would also work). Unfortunately, I received the same result (See attached shot). I am at loss for what to do next and would appreciate a call back at your convenience if you had the time to address this issue with me. I realize your time is valuable so whatever you can do to assist me would be greatly appreciated.

We'll try to do what we can here in the community forum since ther is no direct assistance for technical issues available from Broadcom's tech support.

The Fusion program is starting up because the screen shot you posted  shows it running (from the top menu bar) and it's displaying the Virtual Machine Library. Instead, the error message is telling you that the virtual machine you are trying to start is not found in the folder where Fusion thinks it should be.  There are several reasons why that happens. They include:

    • The virtual machine was deleted from the Finder and not the Fusion GUI.
    • The virtual machine was moved to a different folder or another disk drive through the Finder.
    • The virtual machine is on a removable drive and that drive is no longer connected to your Mac.

Try to locate the virtual machine by either using Spotlight or the search capabilities of the Finder. Instead of typing the name of the VM's, try searching for "kind:vmbundle". That will look for virtual machines you've built and should show the folder they are in (you can also right click on the results and then select "show in finder")

If you find it, you can double click on it to open it and it will be added to the Virtual Machine Library
