  • 1.  which license to choose?

    Hello, is it possible to use Essential license for server with configuration:
    1x Intel Xeon-E 2386G - 6c/12t - 3.5GHz/4.7GHz
    RAM 32GB DDR4 ECC 3200MHz
    HDD 2× 512GB SSD NVMe Soft RAID

    sure, but you can also use ESXi Free for that....

    Regarding "Soft RAID".
    Please note that ESXi requires a supported hardware RAID controller. Software RAID is not supported.
