  • 1.  Where do I enter the license number ?

    I have installed a ESXi 5.0.0 on my PC. It shows license as evaluation. How and where do I enter the license number that I have got ?

    (vSphere client) View -> Administration -> Licensing.  Click on "Manage vSphere Licenses ..." (blue link top right)

    My VSphere Client Version 5.0.0 and ESXi version 5.0.0

    (vSphere client) View -> Administration

    Shows only Roles and System Logs.

    Can you tell me what I can do now ?

    On a standalone host, select the host in the inventory, click the Configuration tab and select licensed features. There you will find an Edit link to enter the license key.
