OK, after some research i decided to buy Synology RS814+, do somebody has any experience with this NAS as a backup solution for ESXi 5.5 ? Or can U, suggest some other product in the same price range ?

Will i be able to backup virtual machine using veeam free to NAS with essential license ?  I know that veeam can work with essential but not sure about NAS with essential

Can you elaborate on your last question? As long as, you're using paid version ESX(i), Veeam will be able to backup VM to whatever location: be it NAS or local disks backup console is staffed with.

    Cheers.

we always use qnap for backup NAS (TS-469 series or look on www.qnap.com)

    its same range as synology.

make sure you use the supported disk though

don't use green disk for example. they will brake in one year
