What are the requirements for vCenter Server 5?

What are the requirements for vCenter Server 5?  More specifically, I'm looking at the vCenter Server Appliance but it is configured for 8 GB of RAM.  I'm hoping to run this on a home lab that only has 8 GB of RAM total, etc.
