  • 1.  vStorage API for DP with HP DataProtector problems

    Hello!

    I deployed Cell Server in the physical server. Also I installed the patches needed for working of VADP:

    Now I have two problems:

    1) I imported the vCenter into clients of DP Manager. But when I try to backup a VM there are such issue:

    if this VM have snapshot made manualy, DP cannot continue the backup and show the error:

    [Critical]

    Virtual Machine base-img: User snapshot found. Backup cannot continue ...

    What a hell??

    2) The second problems is that DataProtector cannot import standalone ESXi host into the cell. I use the root credentials but no luck.
