    Hi!

I got question about supported features in TKG service (as part of Supervisor cluster). For example does it support autoscaler option for deployment?

I know that TKG Managment cluster supports that, but I am cannot find if the supervisor cluster supports that and if so - how to use that?

    Hi!

I cannot find any reference in there for vSphere with Tanzu   (we are talking about on-prem solution) which has TKG SERVICE nor autoscaler feature of Kubernetes inside it.

Are you talking about Node autoscaling feature that is there on TKGm cluster? Are you looking for node autoscaling on TKGs Clusters?

Yes. I am talking about Page 298  of https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Tanzu-Kubernetes-Grid/1.4/vmware-tanzu-kubernetes-grid-14.pdf

But my question is: Is that feature available as part of Supervisor Cluster on vSphere 7 with Tanzu in TKG Service (TKGS - https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Tanzu-Kubernetes-Grid/index.html)

OK, As far as I have understood about vSphere with Tanzu, Here is what you can do from scaling perspective:

    1. Scale TKGs Clusters horizontally by increasing the number of node count

    2. Scale TKGs Cluster vertically by changing the Virtual Machine Class

Autoscaling parameters like what we have in TKGm, I have not seem for TKGs clusters yet.

I suspected also that this is not possible.  I hoped to get some official link about that from somebody who is on developer side of this story

    Thanks!
