    Hi All,

Has anyone used or have any comments on third party vSphere SSD caching software. Basically runs on the ESXi host and caches hot data onto an SSD volume local to the host. Claims to improve storage performance. Such products are Proximal AutoCache and Sandisk FlashSoft?

Looking to give them a go here but currently sourcing some SSD drives.

I really want to start using this technology. I am considering fusion IO and flashsoft. I really like the industry backing from dell hp ibm and cisco of fusion IO, but it seems rediculous to install software on each virtual machine. I also do not like that the cache has to warm up each time after the virtual machine is restarted.

I would love to hear if anyone is using either of these...
