vSAN Datastore Segmentation

Hello VMware Fellows,

We just deployed a VCF platform, and we need to segment the vSAN Datastore to give a quota of it to a group of users in a way that when they access vCenter, they will be able to use only this part of it to create their VMs. Is this possible?

I guess the answer will be No (for now, using File shares or iSCSI Targets is not supported), though, I guess with vRA and Cloud Assembly, as we have VCF Ent, we can have a Yes. But for customers who bought only the VMware HCI solution, this is not possible! Am I mistaken?

 From a vCenter/vSphere perspective the vsanDatastore is available to a user or not - in current release there is no feature for presenting just a portion of this to a subset of users.
