We use a customized deployment of Server 2008R2 Embedded (embedded only means we get a better price in exchange for usage limitations).  Part of the deployment is we have to include the device and network drivers for our "hardware" configuration.  What device type is a VMXNET 3?  Where can I find its drivers to include in my deployment?

    Thanks

The VMXNET3 is a virtual network adapter, that has been created to only be used in vSphere virtual machines. The drivers for the VMXNET3 network card is included in Vmware Tools for that specific guest operating system.
