What do you have to do to obtain 'free' software from Vmware/Broadcom?   I'm also interested in evaluating VMware Site Recovery Manager.  I stated working with VMWare Workstation long ago, I think it was version 2.0 at the.   I also purchased a ESXI server license prior to the merger with Broadcom.  Since then well let's say not so good.   Unless Broadcom can provide better access to trial software, etc.  I see no reason to recommend to any customers to use VMWare related products, legacy or in the cloud due to this complete disconnect with existing customers.  I'm done jumping through hoops . Good Luck Broadcom ( Vmware ).

    Hello

Broadcom released recently "VMware ESXi 8.0 Update 3e now available as a Free Hypervisor". Please check below VMware article for your reference. Please check if it is helpful for you.

I was prompted to rebuild my profile, after that I was able to access the VMware ESXi 8.0 Update 3e iso, but under VMWare Live Recovery it does not appear SRM related appliances are available. Any idea how one might find a trial or access SRM trial.  I simply want to maybe do a lab using nested esxi ( two sites ) each with a Linux VM to simulate a DR recovery .
