Hi there,
Thanks for reporting.
Can you be more specific about Windows OS versions and do you have any specific configuration settings?
Can you provide the Windows VM's vmx file to see your configuration? Are your VMs using a PVSCSI controller? If so, which disks?
Do you see these messages when any specific activity is occuring on the system? E.g., outside of file backup etc.
Is it possible to provide the Windows system event logs where you see these messages?
What was the prior version of VMware Tools that was running when you did not see these messages?
Are you running any anti-virus software, or compliance, system monitoring applications?
Any details specific to your environment can be helpful.
Thanks

Subject: VMware Tools - Windows Storport Miniport Driver has timed out a request
Hi Folks.
After installing VMware Tools 12.5.2 some weeks ago, I experience an increased rate of these ": Windows Storport Miniport Driver has timed out a request" warnings.
They occur on VMs that do not have snapshots, and not at the same time when centralized backups have been run on that particular VM.
Different MS version as well.
Have anyone else experienced the same?
Regards, Tore
