  • 1.  VMware Infra Client crashes

    I have just upgraded to the lastest version of Vmware Infrastucture Client build 84767. A couple of times the program has just shut down. No error message. Just dissapeared. As if you just closed the program. Never had this kind of problem before. Has anyone else seen this?

    Hi Niclasc,

    We were having problems with installing Update manager on VC 2.5.0 so we updated out VC server yesterday to 2.5.0 update1.

    We updated our clients from the VC server same client build as yours. Following the installation we had various issues. We've found the Update Manager plugin to be a bit flaky.

    We got popups indicating C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\VMware\vpx\viclient-4.log was in use.

    Tried deleting thr vpx directory. Ran the VI client and this time viclient-0.log was in use.

    Unselected the Update Manager plugin and things so far are more stable. I need to raise support call for this.
