VmWare Fusion 13 on Apple Silicon, Windows Arm guest network adapter disconnects

I am using VMWARE Fusion 13.5.2 host on MacOS Silicon (M1) Sonoma & Windows 11 Arm guest. Guest network adapter often disconnects, requiring enabling and disabling the adapter to re-gain network connectivity. This seems to be particularly true on MacOs wake up from sleep.

Any clue?

What macOS version are you running?

Fusion has had issues for quite some time now when the Mac decides to go to sleep. The general recommendation for things like this is  to suspend the guest OS when you think you're going to be away from the Mac long enough for it to sleep, or to disable sleep.
