  • 1.  VMware Converter.

    I am using VMware Converter version 44840 and when I target a IBM Blade server, I am getting OS is not recognize. The server is up and running windows 2000 and would like to migrate it over to Vmware.

    Has anyone encounter this before and can you suggest some solutions.

    TRy loading Converter directly on the Windows 2000 server and then have it convert it.

    Part of the problem could be he host OS that your worstation is using.

    Also, when you are installing the Converter on the source machine, log in as local admin not domain admin.
