  • 1.  VMTX template file is missing

    Hi,

    I have template for Windows 2008 r2 standard edition and use it to provision virtual machines. But from time to time i have vmts (template file) missing and at that point I cannot provision virtual machine.

    Does anyone know why vmtx file keeps I would say disappearing from the template folder.

    Are you deploying the VM's by using an option  "Deploy Vm from template" or "Convert to virtual amchine"...?

    or by itself, it is disappearing..? and Try connect using putty and brwose the directory then type the cmmand "ls -al" - It will give you the hidden files as well.

    Hi

    I am doing deploy virtual machine from this template. since template didnt  work so I  ended up recreating template and the it worked
