Hi,

In case the issue is still not resolved, kindly check the below
It depends on the Storage Policy at the Destination site, most likely it is set to FTT-1 (mirroring) and hence the storage utilization is showing up doubled.
Another possibility could be HCX converting the disk type from Thin to Thick
