  • 1.  VMs are doubling in size when migrated via HCX

    Hi,
     
    During migration via HCX, it seems that the VMs' storage size is doubling. Can you provide guidance on whether this is expected behavior or if there is a configuration issue?

    Hello There

    In case the issue is still not resolved, kindly check the below

    1. It depends on the Storage Policy at the Destination site, most likely it is set to FTT-1 (mirroring) and hence the storage utilization is showing up doubled.
    2. Another possibility could be HCX converting the disk type from Thin to Thick
