    Hi,

    Is there a way I can express the CPU utilisation of a VM as a percentage on the host it is currently on?

    Trying to show how much a CPU a VM is using as an average or peak on what is available on the Host.  So if a Host had 2 x CPUs, with 10 cores equalling 20 vCPUS then add Hyper threading to give as 40 logical processors.  If I give a VM 2 vCPUs and they are running at 50% all the time, how much would that be as a % against the total available on the host (2.5%?).

    SSH into a host and checkout esxtop. Hit c to get to the CPU info page. See if that has what you are looking for.
