As an addition to my previous post, just take it OFF from settings and you are fine.

I am running Windows 11. I disabled sidechannel, and Hyper V, but I am still getting the VT-x/EPT error.

You need that for running Nested Virtualization. Like VM inside a VM. Otherwise, it doesn't mean much of anything. There are other things that you need to configure, but VMware tells about them (like disable sidechannel ...).
Providing that your question is about Win 11, which I think because you got that error message. If something else, please let us know.

I am using a Dell 16 Plus DB16250 and when I launch VMWare, I receive the error message, "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this platform". I found instruction online directing me to make a change in BIOS, but the BIOS on this machine doesn't look at all like the clip I found. If anyone can provide guidance on how to turn on virtualization on this Dell 16 Plus DB16250, I'd appreciate it. Or if someone can tell me that this device truly can't run virtualization that would also be appreciated. Or if third party software can provide virtualization, that is another option.
