    This problem persists in 17.6.4 build-24832109, for Windows.

    Noticed in the Taskbar:

    Confirmed in C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\

    The correct icon is the second one in the resources:

    This file is signed and this issue can only be fixed in build.
