  • 1.  vDS not available in Enterprise Plus?

    Folks,

    I have a datacenter with four 4.1 hosts licensed with Enterprise Plus. I have an older host in this datacenter which is ESX 3.5. I want to create a vDS for the four 4.1 hosts.

    When I click on my datacenter the option to create a 'New vNetwork Distributed Switch' is greyed out.

    Do all hosts in the datacenter have to be up to Enterprise Plus and vSphere 4.1 before I can create a vDS?

    Hi!

    You need to go to 'Inventory' -

    > 'Networking' in order to create your vDS.
