    HI All,

    I am planning to implement VDR in my current Vmware infra structure .i am target is to backup 20-25 Vm.

    Few of my host are Vsphere ,Few are esx3.5.

    The virtual machine has a RDM configured in Physical mode so will that support backing up that Vm.

    The backed up Vm size is same as the source VM or  does it do compression if yes then whats the ratio.

    can any one please there views on above queries.

    i believe VDR does not support 3.5 hosts. you might want to look into solutions like veeam backup or quest's vranger ..
