  • 1.  VCSA 7 stage 2 setup stuck at Saving host name

    Installing VCSA7 (7.0.1-16860138) on VMware Workstation 16.0 Pro. Setup keep getting stuck at Stage 2 "Saving host name", right after step 2. Can't find much information about this. 

    DNS has been setup on another Windows Server 2019 VM. nslookup has no issue.

    You have probably fixed this by now. In my case, I just had to refresh the browser and redo the input of all info. It went through without issues on the second attempt.

    I agree with  relaunching the browser or refreshing and starting again resolves this issue.
