vcentre linked mode advise

hi

i had 2vcentre servers connected using link mode.

i had to delete one the servers, but vcentre keeps trying to connect to the other server and gives me a warning

is there a way i can stop vcentre looking for this non existant vcentre machine?

my mistake was i didnt remove the old server from link mode.

Have you tried to disable via "Add/Remove Programs" on VMware vCenter? This is the typical method for disabling but I do not know how this will respond without the other vCenter Server online but it might work.
