    Has anyone seen this error? After the EULA is checked, it looks like some pre-checks happen. On one of the VC instances, I see this error. All other instances updated as expected. Using the VAMI update methodology (from 8u1 to 8u2) ...

    Reboot the instance in question and try again.

    Thank you for the response! I did reboot; sadly no difference in behavior. I deleted and re-uploaded the ISO, to no avail. I rebooted the source machine. Used Firefox and chrome to see if the browser was an issue; again, to no avail. Still looking at logs ...

    As a follow up, it ended up being a one-off of sorts ... I deployed a new vCenter 8U1 in that environment, and the update to 8U2 went as expected.
