  • 1.  Vcenter update manager help

    Hello,

    I have 3 x esxi hosts (ver 5.5) in a cluster in Vcenter.  Vcenter is an appliance and I wondered how I can get update manager installed so I can scan the hosts for any updates?  I've used Vcenter on a Windows server before, but can't see the update manager option on the VCA.

    Unfortunately Update Manger is only available as a Windows application, i.e. you need to install it on a supported Windows Server system.

    VUM come with Windows based Vcenter and not included in VCA. follow the below article for more info.
