Running vCenter 5.5u3 on a Windows 2008 server. Never had any issues in the past with patching but this past month when Microsoft patches are installed, the vCenter server services fail to start. A few entries are logged in the event viewer about the service failing to start to due an error. If I restore the snapshot prior to patching everything is fine and stays fine until I try and re-install the patches.
