VCenter - fake news about available upgrade?

Hello,

we are running the latest version 8.0 Update 3j of vcenter and ESXi.
Since Friday our VCenter shows message about a available update. But there is nothing to find. neither in the news nor in the management console we have hints about new software. on friday was revealed a security problem with "VMware Avi Load Balancer", but we dont use this software. I assume our VCenter is showing fake news.

Do you see the same?

It's notifying you that vCenter Server version 9.0 and/or 9.1 is available.

It's misleading because it says "update" when it should say "upgrade."

3j is still the latest vCenter Server 8.0 Update.

Hello,

i know this described behaviour from older versions especially v7. In v8 ist was the first time. It is strange to me, especially 9.x had recently no update.

I think this is a bad design decision. One is permanently alarmed when seeing this wrong update info.
