vcenter 8.03 g capacity and usage empty

Hi

I have installed brand new vcenter 8.03g and upon connecting with client i get capacity and usage all blank. Now this vCenter server is not connected to internet at all and I have another server that is the same build but it has capacity and usage. Does this have to be connected to internet to work also vCenter details takes about minute to show up version build etc

Capacity and Usage shows information for the ESXi hosts managed by vCenter Server, and it looks like you do not have any hosts connected to the vCenter Server yet!?
