What will happen with vDS which is currently managed by CISCO ACI.
In current setup we have vCenter 8 with vDS managed via CISCO ACI integration. Idea is to imoprt vCenter 8 to new workload domain in VCF9. It will deploy NSX and management of vDS will v´be integrated SDDC Manager/VCF Operation. I hope that CISCO ACI should be able to manage orogonal vDS and we can use the "sync" workflow to update the SDDC Manager inventory and avoid drifts in case of modification via CISCO ACI. Is it true statement?
Next steps are to deploy NSX with Overlay and add new ESX host in version 8 to new NSX vDS and migrate VMs from vDS managed by CISCO ACI to new portgroups and new compute clusters.
Last step will be decommision old ESXi hosts/delete vDS managed by CISCO ACI and perform upgrade of vCenter/hosts/vDS to version 9. Is it realistic scenario or do you some obstacles / risks?
Thanks
Leos
