    Has anyone set up the latest version of vCenter on Windows 2008 x64? Is this supported?

    If yes...Has anyone set up the latest version of vCenter on Windows 2008 x64 running SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition?

    Looks like the answers are yes and yes...

    I will be installing Windows Server 2008 Standard R2 x64 and SQL Server 2008 Standard x64. I will post if I have any issues.

    W2K8 R2 is not supported

    R2 is not supported, and I would not recommend to use it in production enviroment!!
