  • 1.  VC rollup procedure failing

    Anyone know what this means? We've been seeing that the ‘Past Day stats rollupVirtualCenter’ job on our SQL Server has

    been failing pretty reliably with this message:

    Message

    Executed as user: VC_Account. Transaction (Process ID 785)

    was deadlocked on lock | communication buffer resources with another process

    and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction. [SQLSTATE

    40001] (Error 1205). The step failed.

    I am running VC2.5 U4.
