update manager patch does not comply to windows update

Hi,

I try one vm using the update manager. It show compliant.

When I perform a windows update of the machine, it show some of the patche is not download?

Why is there a difference on this?

Hello

I'm not surprised that this might be the case, don't forget that Update Manager gets its updates from VMware and not directly from Microsoft.

There will always be a lag of some sort, I'm not sure what the process is for the VMware team to update their patch database.
