    Hi,

    I am unable to mount or add existing NFS share folder with new ESXi Server, getting below error;

    Call "HostDatastoreSystem.CreateNasDatastore" for object "datastoreSystem-83" on vCenter Server "vCenter.domain.com" failed.

    NFS mount NFS Server IP address:Folder name failed: Unable to connect to NFS server.

    An unknown error has occurred.

    vCenter Server version: VMware vCente Server 5.5.0

    ESXi Server version: VMware ESXi 5.5.0

    1. That specific NFS folder is already mapped or shared with other ESXi Servers within the same VMware Cluster.

    2. VMKernet port is set properly

    3. Able to get the response for # vmkping NFSServerIP

    4. NFS Client setting is enabled in ESXi firewall

    Please assist or help to resolve the issue.

    Thank You.

    Has this host been permitted to mount the NFS share? Since this is a generic error, try to isolate the issue following the steps in the KB - VMware Knowledge Base
