  • 1.  Unable to connect to the MKS Error

    Posted Oct 07, 2015 07:04 PM

When I'm plugged into the network, I can open the consoles of VMs with no issues. However, when I'm out of the office and connect to the network through VPN, it lets me in vSphere but when I try to open a console session of a VM, I get the error "Unable to connect to the MKS. Failed to connect to server{server name}:902. Why can I open a console when plugged into the network but not when I'm logged in through the VPN? Thanks.

Thanks for the article. Do these firewall changes need to be made on the vCenter server?
