uefi pxeboot working in 2021?

Has anyone gotten esxi to uefi netboot for install via syslinux menus?

 

The only thing I can get to work is specifying filename "mboot.efi" which boots directly into the installer.

Would like to pass filename syslinux.efi so I can get menus and what not for kickstarting various machines.

Try Serva ... https://www.vercot.com/~serva/an/NonWindowsPXE3.html I was able to UEFI boot ubuntu (non kickstart install) and windows (auto unattended install). It's a very neat PXE server that has some impressive capabilities. I started testing things out with the community edition and then I purchased a pro license.
