Ubuntu Desktop and Server 26.04 Long Term Support - VMware Workstation Pro 25H2

I currently have Ubuntu Desktop and Server 24.04 Long Term Support running on Windows 11. Has anyone tried installing Ubuntu Desktop and Server 26.04 Long Term Support on VMware Workstation Pro 25H2? I'm looking for feedback on others' experiences before I decide to make the switch.

I just installed Ubuntu Desktop 26.04 LTS as a guest on Workstation 25H2u1 running under Fedora 43.  Installation was successful. I'm finding that you'll need to install open-vm-tools and open-vm-tools-desktop as they aren't installed for you automatically. I haven't done extensive testing with applications, but the basics seem to be working fine. 

I've also successfully installed the aarch64 version of Ubuntu Desktop 26.04 as a guest with VMware Fusion 25H2u1 on an M1 Mac mini.

I don't anticipate any issues trying to install Desktop or Server as a guest with Windows 11 / Workstation 25H2 or 25H2u1 based on what I'm seeing.
