  • 1.  two different JBoss-Versions on one Platform

    Hello,

    I've got a question.
If I have a JBoss on my Platform, then I have to add the path to the JBoss in the "agent.properties"-file, so it finds it's jar-files.

What if I have two different JBoss-Versions (3.2 and 4.2) on my Platform? They use 2 different jar-archives, can I add both path to the "agent.properties"-file? I don't think so.
Is it possible to get this to work? If it is, how is it possible?

Maybe by installing two agents on the same plattform?

    Thank you and goodbye

    Hi Christoph,

This is a good question. Unfortunately I don't think you can do anything about it - the one plugin will have the single classpath. See here - Doug, the plugin "godfather" replied to a similar question a while ago: http://communities.vmware.com/message/1922542#1922542

I haven't tried copying the plugin and renaming it for another version. Somehow I don't believe it will work, but can't be sure.

    Cheers,
    -Stacey

    Yes thats a similar problem.
It's unfortunate but as it seems it is not that importent to monitor the JBoss 3.2 for now.

Maybe I will tryout some things later or you better the plugin in the future.
    Anyway thanks for the information.

    Greetings
    Christoph
