  • 1.  Trying to Install the Build 381591 Patch and it is not working

    I downloaded the EXXi 4.1 Build 381591 Dated 4-28-2011, per an E-mail notification from VMWare, and I am having problems installing and not updating my Server.I ma using Vsphere Client and doing this via the Command Line. Using vihostupdate.pl returns "Operation not supported on 4.1.0". Also tried "remoteinstall.exe" which this patch zip file does not seem to have. Please let me know the Syntax that I need to do to upate this server? Thank you.

    To All.

    Please ignore this request as I have found the answer I was looking for. I spent 3 hours searching the Knowkegde Base and found the correct white paper I required. to resolve the issue. My Server has been patched and all is AOK in the VMWare World.
