    Posted Jun 23, 2023 08:47 PM

Trying to import a VM from an old Center (6.7) to new (8.0) and get an error everytime.

"A general system error occurred: The token has expired at: TIME" the time is always the same time that I am attempting it.

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

How are trying to import it ?

Did you try to Export the VM and the import it ? or did you try to use VMware Converter ?

I was using the vMotion wizard to transfer from an active older vCenter.

    Hello,

Does it start and stops or never runs at all ?

If it doesn't start at all, may be you need to check if ports are open for vMotion.

If it stops after a certain time, may be it's a timeout problem, check this link to increment it : https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.7/com.vmware.vsphere.vcenterhost.doc/GUID-A91AFDA5-9D37-4F9B-B076-FCC2E65FB938.html

I am using 8.0 for the new and 6.7 for the old. I get the attached error, after selecting the VM that I want to move from the 6.7 vCenter to the new one.

    Hi Everyone

I can resolve the issue by ensuring the NTP setup on both ESXi Servers (through vCenter) and vCenter Servers (through VAMI) is consistent. I was using google public NTP in the configuration

    Best Regards
