I am looking for a way to shutdown the Hypervisor ( 6.7 ) essentially powering it off at a certain temp setting.

it's running on a supermicro X10 version Motherboard. It does not have an option in bios for this.

I can do this with Hyper-V using core temp, but I really don't want to go that route.

Thread reported so moderators know it should be moved to the area for ESXi.

That would depend on your hardware vendor and if they expose that some way you can programmatically make a decision on that.  If you have a cluster and run HA then look at ProActive HA which could take action based on issues like this.

Yea I’m Hoping someone knows the MIB? So it can be controlled by a 3rd party app.

Maybe something with IPMI? I usually go the main vendor route and not something motherboard specific so I'm not sure but its a thought.
