Task status: Cancel requested

Hi everyone!

I have an ESXI inside a Cluster, which has several tasks with the status "Canceled request" which does not allow me to put the host in maintenance mode or execute tasks such as migration of VMs with vMotion, turn on VMs, etc. I tried restarting the ESXI management services but it didn't work, it still appears the same way. Any ideas that can help me?

Hey, how are you?

If you have already restarted management agents (with services.sh restart)  you can take the following approaches. 

a. restart management agents both on source and destination hosts. 
b. Wait for the tasks to timeout
c. restart vCenter (It will kill the tasks for sure - this will only affect mgmt.
d. reboot both hosts and destination hosts (note it will require downtime and affect VM's uptime)
