    Any idea about the folowing error in vCenter Service Status? http://vCenter 4.0U1, ESX(i) 4.0U1 cluster

    Status

    Triggered

    Message

    Storage Managment Service

    Alert

    X

    Provider sync failed

    I searched in the community and found nothing like that, thx

    Hi,

    the problem resolved after I restarted the vCenter server service in windows services MMC. I can see the massage some times when I restart the server but it will disappear after 5 minutes.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I'm still having problems with it but I think it may be related to an ESXi host with an older OS version.
