Sound (in and out) on linux guest

    Hello,

    Say I have multiple linux (OpenSUSE) guests on an ESXi host. Would it be possible to play and record sound on these guests? The sound playing/recording would have to be done on the computers connecting to the guests. I am not fuzzy about how I would connect to the guests, NX client, VNC or RDP I don't care as long as it works well.

    If possible at all, is this configured solely through the software connecting to the guest, or is this done in ESXi?

    I have googled quite a bit but cannot find a lot of info, probably because it is not possible doing this?

    Any push towards a possible solution would be appreciated.
