    Hi Guys,

Second has 2000 GB and thick provisoring, but free space is about 1100 GB. Its possible shring disk to capacity about 1000 GB ? Because i have to move fileserver from server with integrated storage to new R 730xd with integrated storage, and if i shrink disk = save time :smileyhappy:

In order to shrink the virtual disk you need to use a toll like VMware Converter. Since you are going to migrate the VM anyway, this may be a good time to do so. Make sure you select the advanced option in the Converter's Disk options to be able to specify the target virtual disk size.

Could you give more informations about the underline virtual infrastructure.

With storage vMotion or Storage Cold Migration it is possible to change vmdk from thick to thin...

There is an interesting KB about vmdk management... read here : http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1002019
