  • 1.  Setup NIC teaming and failover policy ESXi6 on web client

I know how to setup the NIC teaming using the vsphere client.  I'm trying to get used to the web client.  I can't find how to change the failover policy for the NIC teaming.  Documentation says to goto Networking -> virtual switches.  Navigate to the Teaming and Failover policy.  I do not see that option.

    *  If I choose vSwitch0 and select edit, I can add uplinks. But no teaming policy.

    *  If I choose a network under Port Groups, I see the NIC Teaming Policy listed, but I can not change the policy.  Edit settings only lets me select the virtual switch.

I'm using the latest HP custom Esxi 6 Update 2 with a retail and branch office license.

    What am I missing?

Thanks for the response.  The UI I have is different.  Just can't seem to find the right place.

It looks more like the vSphere HTML5 Web Client which has limited functionality compared to the vSphere Web Client for vCenter.

    Best Regards

The problem is that you're using the vSphere Host Client and not the vSphere Web Client, and on vSphere Host Client, like already stated above, you have some limited settings.
