    I've just spent an hour creating disk space alerts on 10 servers.

    Is there no way to create an alert for a specific monitor for ALL servers/platforms?

    Yes, it's called Resource Type Alerts and is available in HQ Enterprise (http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOC/Resource-Type+Alerts).
