    I have a server in an 2008 AD Domain that wants to

    be 8 hours off. The time zone is correct and when I run the net time

    command, Its pointing to the domain controller and that time is

    correct. when I manually reset the time, it jumps back to 8hr ahead

    within a few minutes.

    I have manually changed the time and used the the "net time /domian /set command. With in one or two minutes, the time changes back to 8 hours ahead. The Time Zone is and off set are correct.

    What are you using for time servers?

    I typically use the us.pool.ntp.org and north-america.pool.ntp.org servers (0-3)... Never had any issue using those (usually link to both to ensure proper time sync happens)...
